Chris is an ocean photographer based in Newquay, Cornwall. Growing up in Norwich, from an early age he bodyboarded the often mediocre (but sometimes epic!) beach breaks around the North Norfolk coast.

When he moved to Cornwall, he never looked back. Chris recently went back to college and received a First in Applied Media (an achievement he is super proud of, not being a naturally academic person growing up).
With photography always being a passion, years of surfing and travelling the world started to push it front and centre. Steering clear of stereotypical surf shots, he makes the conscious choice to focus more on the light, the mood, the textures and the movement. The dramatic weather in the Southwest of the UK means the conditions shift by the hour, making every shoot unpredictable. As a photographer, you never know what to expect, and that’s what keeps him coming back for more.
