SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

When will my order arrive?
- Each one of our fine art prints takes up to 15 business days to be prepared by our independent printmaking partners. This includes printing, mounting, framing and packaging securely. Once shipped, you will receive confirmation from us.
- All our framed and unframed prints will be delivered by our courier partner APC Overnight approx. 24 hours after being shipped. Once collected, you will recieve an email from APC Overnight with tracking details and delivery options. You will have the opportunity to reschedule the delivery if required.
- All artwork orders will need to be signed for.
- Any merchandise orders will be delivered seperately via Royal Mail. These seperate deliveries will not require a signature.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer free shipping to all mainland UK addresses for both our framed and unframed prints. Please contact us for costs to non-mainland UK orders, and for international shipping costs on info@thelostworks.co
Do you include any payment information on the package?
No, we do not include an invoice or payment information on the package, ensuring your fine art print can be delivered directly as a gift. We also offer gift cards if you can’t decide which print to choose for that incredible present!
My print arrived damaged. What should I do?
We suggest that customers inspect their artwork as soon as possible after they receive it. In the unlikely event that one of your products arrives damaged, we kindly ask you to provide detailed photos clearly showing the damage, as soon as it arrives. Please include images of the packaging too, even if there are no signs of damage. Photos must be submitted to info@thelostworks.co no later than 72 hours after the indicated delivery date provided by the shipping provider. Our customer service team will assess the extent of the damage and determine the best course of action to take.
Do you offer expedited shipping?
We do not currently offer any expedited shipping options due to working with small, independent suppliers to fulfill each order.
My order is lost. What should I do?
If your order has been marked as delivered but you have not received it, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing info@thelostworks.co and we will help to locate it.
I don't live in the UK. Am I able to purchase any prints?
- Currently, we do not offer international shipping for prints as standard. If you are interested in purchasing one of our prints, please get in touch with your order and your full address, and we will do our best to accomodate.
- Please note that shipping costs and delivery times will vary depending on the destination.

Can I frame these prints myself?
Yes! We offer unframed prints with a 5cm paper border so you can customise your final piece to suit your style. Simply select the “no frame” option when adding your artwork to your basket.
Can I make customisations to the frame?
Unfortunately we are unable to make any customisations at this time. However, for larger or commercial orders, we can offer the option to customise your frames.
What are your frames made from?
All of our frames are made from wood and hand assembled for each piece.
What style are your frames?
Shadow box frames are supplied as standard across our sizes as they offer greater depth between the artwork and the acrylic with a more pronounced shadow. This gives the artwork a subtle yet stunning visual effect and a gallery-style finish.
Do your frames come with glass or acrylic?
Each frame is finished with a thick sheet of artist-grade acrylic, which has a UV coating that absorbs 99% of UV radiation to protect your artwork, and is also shatter-proof. Although more expensive than glass, it is much lighter making your piece easier to hang and is less likely to be damaged in transit.
Do the frames come ready to hang?
Framed prints will arrive ready-to-hang, with either a picture-cord or hardware on the back, depending on the size.
What do you recommend for hanging hardware?
You will be able to hang your artwork using basic picture-hanging hardware from your local DIY store. We recommend screws that are suitable for your wall type, and for our larger sizes, we recommend using an anchor.
Do you offer limited edition prints?
On occasion, we may offer limited signed and numbered editions. To ensure you stay updated and don’t miss out on these opportunities, please subscribe to our newsletter.
Do the artists sign the prints?
The prints are not signed by the photographer. However, to establish that the fine art print is authentic and has been produced by the gallery in collaboration with the photographer, every print border will be subtly embossed with The Lost Works logo. This does not apply for full bleed framed prints. Every purchase will be supplied with a certificate of authenticity from the gallery, which is electronically signed by the photographer.
Are your prints glossy or matte in finish?
The artworks are printed on matt white 310gsm 100% cotton Fine Art paper, considered to be one of the best in the industry for fine art photography prints.
RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

What is your return policy?
Every individual print is made-to-order, therefore we are unable to offer returns or exchanges on any of our products. We also cannot accept any changes to orders 24 hours after the order is placed.
Can I exchange my piece for a different size?
We are unable to accept a return or exchange as all pieces are custom-made just for you.
Can I cancel or change my order?
All cancellations and changes to orders must be made within 24 hours of the original purchase. We custom print and frame every piece so we are unable to make any adjustments once we begin the order process.

Do you offer a trade program or do large scale orders?
Yes! We work closely with many interior designers, hospitality groups and hotels. Please get in touch if you would like to work together.
Not only do we offer discounts on large orders and a bespoke framing service, we also help source alternative images from our roster photographers to help suit your space.

How do I submit my portfolio?
Please send over a PDF of five image selects from your portfolio that you consider suitable using the details on our contact page. Unfortunately due to the volume of inquiries we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
