Originally from a small village near Stuttgart in Germany, Hannes now lives and works in Vienna, Austria.
His journey into photography began at the age of 11, when he inherited his grandfather’s Leica camera - a moment that sparked a lifelong passion. Since then, he hasn’t travelled anywhere without a camera in hand.
Hannes captures the heart and the soul of the places he visits by exploring both popular sights and lesser-known paths. Engaging with the locals, learning about the local architecture, and diving into the food culture adds to his visual story-telling. Every frame reflects not just what a place looks like, but how it feels.
